The Best Fast Food Hangover Guide for Students

Hangovers. We’ve all been there as students and despite modern medicine’s best efforts, they have yet to come up with a better medication than a big greasy burger and plate of salty chips. Here at the Tasty Student we’ve compiled our top 5, best hangover cure restaurants in Dublin, so that when your head is pounding and you’re too busy worrying about what you did last night, you don’t have to worry about where to eat!
These are our 5 best hangover restaurants for students:
Oh
yes. These famous burgers are exactly what you’ll be looking for after a
heavy night out. The patties are freshly minced every morning, making
these burgers one of the best in the game. They have several locations
all around Dublin, but our personal favorite is located at number 97 in
Ranelagh.
The Tasty Students recommendation: Double Cheese Burger with Fries and vanilla Milkshake- 18.50 euro
Not
many things can beat a full Irish breakfast the morning after a
session, and Farmer Browns in Bath Avenue does not let the reputation
down here. Their “Starvin Marvin” breakfast is right up there with the
best around. However, if you don’t think your stomach is able for all
that, we also recommend trying the “Killer Nachos. They’re certainly
more killer than your dance moves last night!
The Tasty Students recommendation: The Starvin Marvin -14.50 euro
We
can’t have a blog about the best hangover food without mentioning our
old friend Pizza. The guys over at The Dublin Pizza company have stopped
at no lengths with this one, from developing their dough in Naples,
Italy, to even building their own pizza oven! This place really hits the
spot when you want a quick bite to cure that thumping hangover.
The Tasty Students recommendation: Lucifero- 12 euro
Ah
yes, the famous Five Guys. Our good friends over in America have
recently landed in Blackrock and Dundrum with these unholy burgers to
save us all from even the most dreaded hangovers. The greasy cheese
mountains are sure to set you right. The fries are cooked in peanut oil
which gives them a distinguishable taste and their prices won’t hurt
your pocket more than those three jaeger-bombs did last night!
The Tasty Students recommendation: Bacon Cheese Burger and fries -14.75 euro
Now
we’re talking. This all you can eat buffet located in Dundrum Town
Centre is the only place you’ll need to eat all day. Prices vary around
20 euro but students can enjoy a 20% discount Monday to Friday. We
recommend arriving as hungry as you can so you can do the most damage!
If this place doesn’t cure that hangover slump, we’re not sure anything
will!
The Tasty Students recommendation: Try it all!
